Any updates? I heard some disturbing news that the Japan trip has been called off because people are unable to take leave.
Understandably, it's difficult to coordinate our planned free time given our different schedules. But I know there are people who still wish to go overseas to rest and relax so I'm suggesting options here.
How many of us know what we want to do when we go overseas?
1) Shopping
2) Cultural immersion
3) Sight seeing
4) Water sports
5) Nightspots
6) Beauty and self preservation
Please post/comment what you seek in the next holiday so that others may know what to plan for future overseas trip.

Some reasons why some cant go in 08,
1) Budget (Some doing business, some studying Masters)
2) Time (Some not yet confirmed, some due to work commitments)
3) ETC
Reasons (1) and (2) already very jialat, therefore hence the current situation.
We could still go for a short trip and still go back to Japan in 09.
I'm looking for ideas where to go. I can safely assume that Japan is out for 2008. Therefore let's look forward to something in May/April.

What you have put forth is right. I suggest we can try Taiwan or perhaps Hongkong. I believe it is quite afforable to most of us. Another location will be China.
Visitng Japan is inevitably scheduled in 09.
I seek a gateaway in the form of relaxation. I strictly mean slowly walking/sightseeing/food delicacies. (Do I sound like Jason?) No more chiong~~~. I old liao dun make my lungs and legs work. Hee...
